We believe that changing the way we produce and distribute food is fundamental to solving the world’s most pressing social and ecological problems.
At Slade Farm Organics, the veg patch is at the heart of the farm. On pick-up days the yard fills with people collecting their bags, sharing a chat, and seeing how the seasons are shaping the farm.
Our aim is simple: to offer good, healthy, sustainable food to the local community. We farm in a way that works with nature, keeping a closed cycle where animals and crops support each other.
We stay connected with our members through updates, open days, walks, talks, and events. At the centre of it all is the veg-bag scheme: each bag brings 7–9 fresh, organic vegetables from the fields, with the occasional addition from trusted local growers. Collections run Thursday to Saturday, with delivery available in some areas.
Locally grown. Community supported. Seasonally fresh.
Local food supports local economies. Food grown in the local community supports local jobs and encourages variety in our diets. It also requires less transportation, so it's fresher and has a smaller environmental footprint.
